Special Note on Shipping Material
In order to help reduce the carbon footprint of my business I have made a conscious decision not use plastic wrap, peanuts (recyclable or not) or foam as wrapping materials. No matter if it’s new, available second-hand or in the recycle bin, I just don’t do plastics.
I use repurposed cardboard boxes rather than buying new. I’m sorry if you prefer a new cardboard box but my conscience doesn’t allow me to do this. However, be assured, your order will arrive securely in a box (or boxes) that is clean and protective. I ask that you reuse this box again rather than sending it to landfill or recycle centre.
Should your order be a gift, a small card will be inserted into your shipment explaining the reasoning for my wrapping technique. It will make you look like a hero!
All pottery is well-wrapped in brown paper. I use paper to create air pockets which protects your order very well. Orders to be shipped are inserted into a double-walled cardboard box and reinforced with strong tape for secure shipping. My wrapping is protective, secure, good for the environment and creative.
Orders will be shipped as quickly as possible, generally between 1 and 4 days from time of order. If you need a quick shipment, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate.
I am not responsible for delays, damaged or lost parcels. I will not be able to track your order and will not refund your order in the case of a delayed or loss shipment due to postal services.
I reserve the right to cancel the order(s) if shipping fees were severely underestimated (10$ or more) by the shipping calculator. If it is the case, I will contact you with the option of paying the real shipping fees or cancel the order.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR EXTRA CUSTOM FEES OR TAXES. These fees are the buyer's responsibility. Please purchase mindfully.
Damage During Shipment
I love wrapping orders and I do my best to package every item as carefully as possible to ensure its’ safe arrival at your doorstep. Pottery and prints are fragile and require extra packaging to make this possible, which is why it may cost more than your average shipping rates. Sorry, no way around this. I do appreciate knowing your order will arrive safe and sound. I hope you do as well.
Once an order ships, it is out of my hands. Please inspect your order upon its arrival within 3 days to confirm it arrived in tip-top shape.
